Rachel Malloy, MSN, RN, CNRN, SCRN
Rachel Malloy has been a neuroscience nurse for over 20 years. For the past 7 years she has been providing training to nurses both nationally and internationally. She is a certified neuroscience nurse, a stroke certified nurse and completed a post graduate fellowship in neurovascular education and training in stroke. Rachel currently holds a Member at Large position with the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses
Symposium Objectives
After completing this class, participants will be able to:
- Link symptoms of traumatic brain injuries to different causes
- Link the pathology of intracranial monitoring when using an ICP monitor
- Identify common radiological studies and their impact on the treatment of strokes
- Link nursing assessment of signs and symptoms of the stroke patient with unusual syndromes.
