Summary

Registered Nurse, RN plans and implements professional nursing care for patients in accordance with hospital policies. Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.

Registered Nurse, 1 – 2 years of related clinical experience preferred.

Positive interpersonal skills. Effective organizational, teaching, and leadership skills. Visual and auditory acuity required. Prior experience with Geriatric population, Oncology & Palliative Care, Infusion Chemotherapy, Tracheotomy, Respiratory Support, Foley & Central Line, PCA Pumps, and Telemetry required.

Verbal and written skills required. Is knowledgeable of the age specific physiological, psychosocial, developmental and spiritual needs of the patients typically served. Much standing, walking, bending and lifting. Position may involve skin, eye, mucous membrane, or parenteral contact with blood or other potentially infectious material.

Required Licenses And Certifications

BLS - American Heart Association, RN - Board Of Nursing
