Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. The Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting, while reporting and being accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director.

Responsibilities

• Identify and meet personal learning needs by attending relevant education programs.
• Utilize patient education materials and assess readiness to learn.
• Identify patient outcomes and revise care plans as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to evaluate care and ensure continuity.
• Provide safe, competent care for patients with complex needs.
• Perform point-of-care testing and adhere to standards and policies.
• Organize and prioritize care, consulting resources for complex issues.
• Set and achieve professional growth goals, supporting unit objectives.
• Communicate effectively and provide feedback to coworkers.
• Promote safety, cleanliness, and cost-effective care.
• Assess patient needs, anticipate discharge, and support family advocacy.
• Plan care collaboratively using multidisciplinary resources and cultural awareness.

Work Environment

The position is based in a hospital setting, specifically within the Staffing Pool, which provides flexible nursing coverage across all inpatient units and supports care for inpatients held in the Emergency Department.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $68640.00 - $113256.00/yr.

• Total Amount (4 yrs): $30,000
• Payment Schedule: o 6 Months: $1,000 o 1 Year: $3,000 o 2 Years: $6,000 o 3 Years: $10,000 o 4 Years: $10,000 ________________________________________ RNs (Patient Facing NIGHTS – All other units including Specialty)
• Total Amount (3 yrs): $25,000
• Total Amount (4 yrs): $35,000
• Payment Schedule: o 6 Months: $1,500 o 1 Year: $3,500 o 2 Years: $8,000 o 3 Years: $12,000 o 4 Years: $10,000 ________________________________________ RNs (Inpatient DAYS – 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, Float Pool)
• Total Amount (3 yrs): $25,000
• Total Amount (4 yrs): $35,000
• Payment Schedule: o 6 Months: $1,500 o 1 Year: $3,500 o 2 Years: $8,000 o 3 Years: $12,000 o 4 Years: $10,000 ________________________________________ RNs (Inpatient NIGHTS – 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 7th, Float Pool)
